I'm going out on the limb with Mando - the ONLY version of BoR that I like is the studio version. Phil's vocals on this song in concert are so choppy and distracting as to make it unlistenable. Skip button.

On the other hand, Ripple has such a poignant message I'll never pass it up. Never heard a bad version, except maybe by Furthur.

then don't listen to the "Deadicated" album. Jane's Addiction purely slaughters my favorite GD song

As for the original question...
I like Terrapin and Fire...and Day Job
but then I even enjoy the occasional Samba In The Rain
